Building Hope
Mosaic’s Building Fund
The NC United Methodist Conference has gifted Mosaic with a church building at 408 Willard St in the Greenfield lake Area of downtown Wilmington. This is an older church so in order to receive this gift we need your help. In order to be given the deed we have to pay for the league fees of the deed transfer. Then our building will be owned by our Council and church members.
To make this space safe and comfortable, we need financial gifts to cover replacing the AC Unit, repairing a leaky roof, replacing broken windows and doors, and covering the legal and deed transfer fees.
This all adds up to $55,000 we need to raise.
The Congregation Development Fund has agreed to match all donations up to $25,000 given before December 31st. Every dollar you give will be matched by the CDF. This building will not only house our church and programs, but will be used by the community and partners to bring events, fresh food, support groups, and more to the Greenfield Lake Area. Your gifts will create a space where everyone is safe, loved, and connected. Our church focuses on social justice, lifting our marginalized siblings, and repairing the church harm done to our LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent friends and allies.
